Temps were chilly but hearts were WARM Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025, on the Coney Island Boardwalk for the 2nd Annual Turkey Giveaway at legendary Ruby's Bar & Grill, where 400 turkeys were distributed to the community! A huge THANK YOU to Senator Jessica Scarcella-Spanton, Assemblymember Brook-Krasny, Councilman Justin Brannan, and Alliance for Coney Island Executive Director Daniel Murphy for helping out and saying a few words; to Congressman Hakeem Jeffries and ALL of the boardwalk businesses for donating the turkeys (YES, they all went!); to our CHERISHED NYPD Community Affairs partners; to the INCREDIBLE volunteers whose teamwork REALLY did make the dream work; to our AMAZING musicians Paul Sanchez and Jerry Minsky ... and especially to EVERY SINGLE PERSON who stood in line for a turkey (we appreciated your patience)! We hope to see everyone again NEXT YEAR! ❤️
