CELEB SIGHTINGS AT CONEY

Not only is Coney Island a favorite hangout for a few mega-famous celebs, like actress Liv Tyler (pictured below with Ruby's owner Melody Sarrel), late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel (pictured below at Ruby's), singer Lenny Kravitz (pictured below on the boardwalk in front of Ruby's) and singer/actress Lady Gaga (pictured at Ruby's with one of her friends in this Instagram post), but it's also a prime filming spot for popular TV shows, movies and music videos!

In fact, music videos for Beyoncé's "XO" (2013), Bastille's "Flaws" (2013), LFO's "Summer Girls" (1999) and Salt-n-Pepa's "Shoop" (1993) were all filmed at Coney Island.

The movie "Wonder Wheel" (2017), starring Kate Winslet and Justin Timberlake, was filmed at Ruby's Bar & Grill; and part of "Men in Black 3" (2012), starring Will Smith (pictured below), was filmed in front of Ruby's. Other famous movies filmed at Coney include "The Wiz" (1978), "The Warriors" (1979; some of the original cast pictured below in front of Ruby's), "Beaches" (1988), "When Harry Met Sally" (1989) and "Requiem for a Dream" (2000).

Some popular TV shows, including "I Will Find You" (starring Sam Worthington, pictured in front of Ruby's in this Instagram post), "Sex and the City" reboot "And Just Like That," "Mr. Robot" (starring Christian Slater and Rami Malek, pictured below), "The Morning Show," "Fringe," "Third Watch" and "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" (starring Rachel Brosnahan, pictured below), also filmed some of their most famous scenes at Coney Island.
