2025 AFSP Paws for Prevention Walk raises
over $8,000 in May

Four-legged furry friends were featured Saturday, May 3, during the AFSP's Paws for Prevention Walk at Coney Island. Hundreds of participants and their canine companions flocked to Steeplechase Pavilion to participate in the event, which also included dog yoga, dog portrait paintings, a best-dressed dog competition, a raffle and dog adoptions.

Ruby's Bar & Grill was happy to donate a portion of our May 3 earnings to the NYC Chapter of the AFSP in solidarity!

2024 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk raised $512K+; 2025 walk Oct. 26

Breast cancer survivors and lost loved ones were celebrated and honored in Coney Island on Sunday, Oct. 27, during the American Cancer Society’s 2024 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, which raised more than $512,000. Every year, thousands of people participate in the 5-mile walk, which helps raise awareness and hundreds of thousands of dollars for breast cancer support and research.
